Tim Whiteman

Tim Whiteman was appointed CEO of Sinoboom’s Europe subsidiary in 2019. He was tasked with setting up Sinoboom’s first overseas subsidiary which is based in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Today the multi million euro company is a firmly established part of the European MEWP market and supplies electric MEWPs to most major European Rental companies. Before that he was CEO of the International Powered Access Federation for 15 years and oversaw its transition from a UK association of 400 members to an international organisation of 1700 members across 73 countries in 2019. Tim was originally a journalist and his career includes the creation of Vertikal Press, the launch of industry web site vertikal.net and acting as a founding director of KHL International, where he was Finance Director and Editor of Access International  and International Cranes magazines. Tim has lived and worked in many countries and is a firm believer in the power of motivated people.
