Martin Newton

Martin is a well-respected powered access veteran with over 30 years of experience in nationwide platforms (10 years) and currently Rapid access (20+ years).  He is respected by the Loxam Group and throughout the global powered access market.  He has helped design key safety attachments for operators’ safety and led key initiatives to reduce carbon footprint.

In his current post as Rapid Access Technical Director for International and Middle East, Martin leads the Engineering, Health & Safety, Product Development, and R&D aspects of the company’s innovative safety and efficient solutions ranging from technical design to manufacturing strategies.  He has expert knowledge and experience across all market segments, from aviation, construction, and facilities management to oil and gas.  Martin is a key driver to the research, development, and implementation of Rapid Access’ Safety Bumpguard System – a Rapid exclusive safety attachment aiming to protect the client’s assets and operators.  Martin also leads the overall stringent TechX audit, a group-wide pledge to Rapid Access clients, assuring them that Rapid Access provides only the safe and most reliable hire solutions across the Middle East.
